Also installed Headlight Armor on the fogs. A++ to that product, seriously. Pretty perfect fit, super easy install. Looks great, might get some for the inner headlights but I don't know what color.
I used Turtle Wax's Black Box to do the wax. This comes with 'cleaner' (sealant), carnuba wax, and detail spray. All made for black paint, they have black pigments. The process they say to use is Cleaner, wipe off with detail spray, Carnuba, wipe off with detail spray. It seemed to work pretty well, but be warned you will turn all the towels you use black. Also, the detail spray or sealant smelled pretty bad. Next time I wash and wax I'll use some normal Carnuba and compare. The sealant was thick, took me about an hour and a half to do. The carnuba was very runny, it only took an hour to do. The car looks great with a nice deep reflection, even if the paint is pretty badly orange peeled.

Lookin' good! I'd like to get into detailing, myself - my dad's Focus is ridiculously dirty. I've heard that it's best to wash the car when it's not too hot, though, and I don't know if I could apply a sealant since our single-car garage is crammed full of junk.

I'm not a pro by any means, I just enjoy cleaning the car every now and then and like my car to look nice.
You don't want to wash the car when it's super hot, and not in direct sunlight, but I basically have too. I sealed and waxed in the garage, but you could also wait til night or the evening when the car isn't in direct sunlight.
